*Side note... although I may have been remarkably efficient in getting the Christmas decor down, I'm finding little things I forgot. Like the little plastic greenery that spruces (pun alert!) up a pillar candle or the place mats on the table...which I JUST noticed today. Big clue there as to how often we sit around the table.
This post has nothing to do with the above sentence.
Just wanted you to know.
In case you were confused.
My sweet hubby spent part of his morning running around town trying to find a power cord for my laptop. This is because the cord the people ordered --what? --two weeks ago?-- is STILL not here.
They've had my computer a month. This is getting ridiculous. I'm really looking forward to the part where it gets funny. You know, when we'll all look back on this and laugh. (Or thank God that I'm not talking about how I don't have a computer.) It's really sad that all I blog about now is a whining post on not having a computer or the fact that I ran three miles.
Did I mention I ran three miles TWICE last week?
Gosh, I certainly wouldn't want you to miss anything.
My personal musing on life as I know it. May include self-admiration, venting, whining, deep thought or no thought at all.

My World
What a week!
I, for one, will be glad to see this weekend arrive if only to catch my breath.
It has been busy at work with clients waiting in the wings for cancellations (that aren't happening) and one of the girls has gone on maternity leave and I'm doing the ordering that she was doing on top of the other responsiblities I usually take care of . Let's just say it is taking me all week to place one of the orders because I've been getting it together between clients and chasin down other orders that haven't arrived.
I did something new that I've never done before... I gave a lady a microdermabrasion service yesterday. I practiced on one of my employees last week. I think it went well, because she rebooked with me. Our esthetician left, so it's up to all of us to perform these services now.
Oh joy.
I have worked out every day this week, so I am taking off today! Last night at Bootcamp, America (yes, that's really her name) pushed me to use more weight on bicep curls. The phrase "come on girl, you can do more than that!" just get's me. What can I say, I'm powerless to peer pressure. I told her I would be so sore today I wouldn't be able to lift the scissors and she just looked at me and said, "Pshht". She did spot me which helped immensely and I did it. I'm not feeling as sore as I thought I would! In fact, my biceps are not sore at all!
Gotta come home tonight and bake "pink" cupcakes for the big day tomorrow! I'm so excited about my girl's birthday! She is going to have so much fun and I'm going to help! I'll show you the pics as soon as I can....

Untitled
I'm feeling kinda like a wuss.
This week has just beat me to death. I can feel a knot in my left shoulder blade and this isn't the week I get a massage. Muscle relaxers haven't helped. Maybe I can find someone with a hammer and chisel who can help.
Also, I haven't worked out this week. At all. I set the alarm, wake up, turn it off and roll over. I couldn't fathom lifting weights this morning with my shoulders hurting as they do.
I'm sick of myself because I feel all I've done this week is gripe. I hate that about me.
I'm looking forward to this weekend because I think we are going to Augusta. Hubby wants to check out a gymnastics meet and see how they photograph them. He wants to learn how. I want to take our girl here: http://www.childrensdiscoverymuseum.org/
We don't go to Augusta very often since it's about an hour and a half away, so I'm kinda excited.
But first.
Thursday.
O.K. Deep Breath.
Let's do this thing.
