Being the Mom of a Four Year Old Means...

I may find myself at some point during the day, wearing a orange star sticker on my shirt.

I'll have a pocketful of rocks which double as money to pay the toll waiting for me as I run a curcuit throught the house.

When I deliver a directive, I'm guaranteed a "But Mom!..."

I can count on a song from the movie, "Mary Poppins" at various times throughout the day.

My heart stops when I walk outside and don't see her immediately (especially if she doesn't answer my call right away.)

Being told how to do things.

Baking Christmas sugar cookies at least every other week.

Remembering to be in awe of new discoveries. Like a new bug we've never seen before.

There's someone, besides my husband, to aggravate the cats.

I'll never go to bed early or sleep late again.

I get the blessing of unexpected help when it comes to projects around the house.

And I'm completely fine with that.

Gotta just love that help. wait till she's a teen, then you can add always smells of my favourite perfume and leaves no lipstick for my one date in a year!

Hey girl,
Awww...she's so sweet helping to paint with her little roller brush. She wants to be a big girl and do the wall like her Mom ~ too cute!!! This reminded me of how I used to help my Mom when we would paint rooms and work on projects together. Enjoyed reading this so much!!
Hugs, Bebe :)

Thanks for leaving such a nice comment on my blog. I love this list! Especially the one about having another person, besides your husband to irritate the cats. My husband enjoys getting our dog riled up - like I need that with 4 kids!

Blessings
