I so badly want to write something witty today.
But I just don't seem to have it in me.
I'm in a sleepy haze after a coughing husband woke me at 4AM(!).
I can't seem to string together two coherent thoughts, much less type them.
It's o.k.
'Cause I have a date Friday night! (I can't remember the last time we had a date that wasn't a function type thing we were going to.)
I think we are trying a new restaurant in town called Chops. (Steaks, pork chops, fish.) I've heard only good about it. I'm bracing myself for waiting for a table. When a new restaurant opens in this town, you would think we've never seen the like. People flock to the "next new thing". I personally like to wait till the "new wears off".
So, I'm going to do that and try to manage the "fever" symptoms I have.
I'll keep ya posted.

Oh yeah....got the fever, too..
Thanks for stopping in and leaving such a nice comment.
I love chops! They have the best house salad in the world!
Have a great date night,
Jen
Oh, I have been there...not the restaurant, the no words, tired, sick place. Hang in there and enjoy your night out. A few beers and you won't even remember that you weren't feeling good. Trust me.
Ugh. I know these types of days all too well. I have spring fever, but hubs has spring hay fever. Meaning I suffer through endless nights of his sneezing, sniffling, nose blowing, and bitching. I feel ya babe. We both need some major R&R to prepare for spring.
I know how it is up there. Just like where I grew up, except a tad bit bigger. Alot of the people I work with live up there, so I always get to hear the small town drama. It's pretty interesting the stuff I here. And then of course my mama keeps me informed with the small town drama where I'm from, daily almost. I could write a book about it, maybe I should.
Have a great date night though!! Brent and I never go on dates anymore, and we're not even married! But when we do go out to eat and get a movie, we have so much fun, especially when he takes me by the bookstore!!
